- John petrucci.... (lead guitarist from dream theatre) is my favourite guitarist ever and in a lot of people's opinions the best living legend here's a link to my favourite song he did called Glasgow kiss... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=t25AOSxZZkI This is a must see!!!
- Iron Maiden.... (the best band in the world ever!!!) this is my favourite band and although not to everyone taste most folk still like at least a couple of there songs 1 of my favourite songs by them is Transylvania... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=kCEfqDadlyo it is purely instrumental but inspiring!!!
- Hammerfell.... (cheesy!) this is a great band. I'm sure by now there's a pattern showing with the guitar. Not really much to comment here other than if u like cheesy music then this is for you and if not you'll probably still appreciate the musical talent of a good band when you here one. Here's a link to a very catchy song called Blood bound... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=U4WGNx-tx8o the video was a mark of genius and fit's very well with the song.
- Ensiferum.... Well the best way to describe this band is Viking metal, it's cheery, cheesy, fast and heavy. There a very good band for pit's and just look and sound awesome. A great song by them to give people a good idea would be slayer of light... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=0H1eq12BTgo Very epic!!!
- Dream evil.... Quite heavy but yet again very cheesy, not quite as heavy as ensiferum. It's quite easy to relate to the lyrics of this band usually as there mostly about a proper life of Rock N Roll, no poser's aloud!!! My favourite song by this band would be The Book Of Heavy Metal... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=o-pN8qAiZhQ the whole of this song should be listened to not just the start!
- Demons and wizards.... Yet again cheesy, epic, fast and fairly heavy (you can tell by the name of the band) This band is another band that makes a lot of use of double bass pedals, you should give them a chance, not for the faint hearted. An excellent song by them is Terror Train... http://uk.youtube.com/watch?v=8dhYrLQmRlQ Warning may affect your head!
Well there's just a few,I'll put some more up at a later date but for now here's a play list on youtube with some of the above songs in it to listen to... http://uk.youtube.com/view_play_list?p=1DEBA893350A308C
